About the event

The last two years have seen significant change in the way people view work and want to work.

Most organisations are now working with some form of hybrid or remote working, and that has become the expectation to a large extent. Many employees don’t want to go back to working in an office and are looking to achieve the work-life balance organisations promise but often don’t deliver in practice. They want to work somewhere where they are valued and are paid fairly.

At the same time businesses are facing a raft of pressures: increased costs, economic uncertainty, difficulty sourcing materials and/or finding suitably qualified candidates.

This free one-hour webinar will explore current HR topics and trends arising from this, including:

- How to make hybrid and flexible working patterns work and improve collaboration and innovation

- How to minimise the number of people who turn up every day but do the bare minimum (a new trend called ‘quiet quitting’) and maintain good productivity in a hybrid workforce

- The flexible options we’re seeing, such as the four-day working week

- The alternatives to cost of living pay increases

- How to protect the business when people leave and work remotely

We’ll examine the experience of organisations that are getting this right. You’ll get practical advice on managing these issues and implementing change in your own organisation, as well as an overview of the legal issues you need to be aware of relating to them.

You’ll be able to ask questions and we’ll make the sessions as interactive as possible.

These webinars are suitable for HR managers, business owners and line managers.
