He is the Clinical Director at The Rehab Physio, a specialist state-of-the-art 3.500sq facility on the Wirral, Merseyside, offering robotics and virtual reality to deliver intensive rehabilitation treatment programmes to optimise recovery potential. Â
He works, together with his lead paediatric and adult physiotherapists, to provide highly successful rehabilitation treatment programmes for adults and children with complex needs, particularly those with spinal cord injury and brain injury. Â
Christopher qualified from The University of Liverpool in 2004 and, having developed his skills within the NHS, he opted to specialise in Neurology. He left The NHS in 2010 to become lead physiotherapist at a brand-new inpatient rehabilitation unit. In February 2011, he founded The Rehab Physio and has continued to expand and develop the organisation to the present day.Â
In May 2021 he launched the new Intensive Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, augmented with Robotics and Virtual reality. The centre remains the only one in the Country with its unique three-tiered ‘Complete Solution’ including intensive rehabilitation technology, specialist neurological physiotherapy and a specialist rehab gym.Â
Christopher has delivered presentations and training in the field of robotics and intensive physiotherapy to a wide range of professionals in the medicolegal industry. His many and varied experiences created an opportunity for him to be a physiotherapy consultant for ITV in 2016.Â
Christopher is passionate and enthusiastic about the creative and practical elements of neurological physiotherapy and he finds the analysis and implementation of normal movement strategies, using evidence-based techniques, stimulating, challenging and hugely rewarding.Â
Armed with the latest clinical research and case studies, his primary objective has been to spread the word on the most effective route to achieving positive outcomes for those with neurological injury and to challenge old industry norms to promote change within the sector of neurological rehabilitation.Â
He is trained in many recognised Neurological Physiotherapy treatment approaches, such as:Â
- Constraint Induced Movement TherapyÂ
- The Bobath ConceptÂ
- Spasticity management (including delivery of Botulinum toxin)Â
- Functional Electrical StimulationÂ
- Aquatic PhysiotherapyÂ
In addition to his current role, Christopher has extensive experience of delivering expert reports for court, on both adult and paediatric cases. He mentors his staff on best practice for the role of the expert witness for court. Â
Eva Favva joined the Brain and Spine Foundation in 2011 and is now managing the Brain and Spine Foundation’s Professional Services which consist of the Helpline and Peer Support groups.Â
Eva is passionate to enable people affected by any neurological condition to be equally supported, visible and heard. Through her work Eva works with and alongside the community to co-develop high quality, relevant and accessible services to meet their needs.

I’m delighted to have been at Irwin Mitchell for over 17 years now.
I’m passionate about my clients and providing the best service that I can. I practice exclusively in family law, specialising in divorce and financial matters, and private law issues relating to children. I act for a range of clients and offer practical, commercially focused advice.
I have a particular interest in litigation involving family Trusts. I’m a vocal advocate of pre- and post-nuptial agreements and I’m regularly instructed to prepare these. I’m also instructed by clients who’ve separated and wish to hold their spouses to nuptial agreements they’ve signed, as well as those seeking to challenge them. My clients range from those with inherited family wealth to others who’ve built up assets during their lifetime.
I also sit on Irwin Mitchell’s Later Life Group and act for older and elderly clients. I understand the issues faced by those marrying or separating in later life, and was key in developing the firm’s Later Life Relationships proposition.
I’ve written extensively on family law issues, and have delivered training seminars to other professional advisors.
In relation to children matters I take a sensitive and child-focused approach. I work on cases involving the National Youth Advocacy Service and children’s guardians, and regularly instruct independent social workers and other experts.
I act in cases of internal and international relocation and those involving parental alienation. Whatever a client’s circumstances, my focus is on getting the best result I can.
I am a solicitor specialising in both serious injury litigation and child abuse law. I am an APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) accredited Senior Litigator and a member of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers.
I deal with cases involving life changing injuries and represent people who've suffered traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries and complex orthopaedic injuries, including amputations. I also act for bereaved families who have lost family members in accidents.
I represent victims of child abuse in cases against both individual abusers and institutions including schools, the church and local authorities.
