Director Riding for Rehab and Chair of ACPEA Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Equine Activities
Founder and director of Riding for Rehab has over 30 years’ experience as a hippotherapist and has also been a physiotherapist and coach with the Riding for the Disabled Association.

Elizabeth is currently Chair of ACPEA, a founder member of the European Equine Facilitated Therapy network and a member of HETI, Horses in Education and Therapy International. She is heavily involved in planning and delivering post-graduate education in EFT for therapists both in the UK and in Europe.
Elizabeth works as an expert witness in hippotherapy and other areas of EFT. She is also a national classifier for Paradressage.

MSc with Distinction in Language Pathology from University of Newcastle upon Tyne
Laura is a HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist with more than 8 years qualified experience working with children and young people. She has worked in both the NHS and in private practice and specialises in neurodevelopmental conditions and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Laura is founder of Equine Facilitated Speech and Language Therapy UK (EFSLT-UK) and is a member of the European Equine Facilitated Therapy Network (EEFTN). She is currently part of a multidisciplinary team producing a new postgraduate course in Equine Facilitated Therapy for Allied Health Professionals and continues to strive to achieve recognition of EFT in the UK as a Speech and Language Therapy tool.
